New Jazz

 Yo cats,

Here's some new jazz adds and some playing suggestions.

Gregory Porter - Liquid Spirit

(Tracks 1, 2, 6, 8)

Entire album is really good (4, 7, 13 and 14 are beautiful, but might kill your vibe actually).
It's all definitely jazz, but groove based and very accessible (some gospel & pop influences)

Etienne Charles - Creole Soul

(Tracks 1, 6, 11)

Again, a great all around album, def some variation in genres:

5 -70's herbie/funk

4, 8 -funky reggae

9 - jazzy r&b

Keith Jarrett Standards Trio - Somewhere

Any Tracks. All Tracks. More traditional jazz, perhaps more little heavier than the aforementioned stuffs. Three geniuses, stretching out over classic jazz songs (or "standards"

Derrick Hodge - Live Today

(Tracks 1, 3, 5, 9)

Again pretty much every track is some jazz-influenced hiphop greatness. Track 5 features rapper Common and Track 9 features Alan Hampton. yeah
