Currently the spew of “transformational festivals” has reached a peak in popularity. However, oftentimes these sort of festivals have a new-age feel to them that can sometimes seem cliche. Contrastingly, the Sat Nam Fest connects to the roots of mantra music, Kundalini yoga, meditation, sadhana soul inspiring workshops, community meal time and more. The schedule is divided into six categories: early morning program, meals, workshops, concerts, art workshops and yoga. I’m most looking forward to the Gurunam Singh Concert, Make Your Own Mala Workshop, and Women’s Discussion Panel.
