Psycroptic - The Inherited Repression
is best enjoyed with...
Spicy Szechuan beef with chow mein.
It's not because the album has Chinese influences (it totally doesn't), and it's not because the cover art kinda makes me want to attach a feed bag to my head (it totally does). But furious music goes great with furious food, so it makes sense that you should find the hottest Szechuan cuisine possible to fuel your stomach with the anger and energy of Psycroptic's new release. As for the chow mein? The undeniably noodly riffs would accept nothing but. Plus, you can always pretend it's worms. Eating worms is pretty damn metal.
